Hillary King started pH reclaimed in 2013, inspired to make use of wood being removed from historic buildings around her in Charleston. Working in the field of preservation, she saw first hand how even sensitive restoration projects produced waste wood. Sure, that joist with extensive damage at one end can't hold up a floor anymore, but there's still plenty of undamaged wood to make a beautiful table! So Hillary made it her mission to bring new life to materials otherwise destined for the landfill.
pH reclaimed's signature objects include custom tables, hand carved spoons, and turned cocktail muddlers and ornaments.
Our lumber is sourced from historic building renovations, off cuts from the local lumber yard, and green wood from trees that have been limbed or cut down.
